History of Clue board game

How to Play the Classic Clue Board Game

Characters travel between the rooms by rolling the dice and moving from floor tile to floor tile to reach the doorway. Secret passages also allow players to move from one room to another or move around the board more quickly.

Character Pieces

Clue's character pieces look like traditional board game pieces, but each color represents a different character:

  • Yellow = Colonel Mustard
  • Purple = Professor Plum
  • Green = Mr. Green
  • Red = Miss Scarlet
  • Blue = Mrs. Peacock
  • White = Mrs. White

Weapons

The game of Clue features miniature versions of six different weapons. The weapons include:

  • Revovler
  • Knife
  • Rope
  • Lead pipe
  • Wrench
  • Candlestick

Cards

Included with the game are cards to represent each character, weapon and room in the mansion. At the beginning of each game, one of each type of card is placed in a confidential case file without being seen by any of the players. These cards represent the murderer, location of the crime, and the weapon used to commit the deed. The remaining cards are dealt to players and the game focuses on determining who comitted the murder, where, and with which weapon.

A large group of Hispanic kids and parents marched and fought to save the name and song and the School Board caved.
How the hell did that happen? This was 1999. Now the school is...
